As a sound healer, singer, songwriter, speaker, and teacher, Niobe carries over 30 years in the performing and healing arts. A near death experience in 1989 opened a realm of insight and understanding that allows her to focus on the emotional and spiritual nature of healing and dis-ease. Working with a "team" consisting of guides, angels, sacred sound and the language of light, she is able to address your needs and bring balance which allows healing.
Niobe began recording in 2002, when she met Gilbert Yslas guitarist/producer and recorded her first original vocal CD, “Language of Light.” This brought the opportunity to collaborate in music and in life. Together they offer their healing music in concerts, special events and in new thought churches. They have opened for Alan Cohen and Deepak Chopra in the Seattle series of “An Evening with 5 Extraordinary People” at Bennaroya Hall.
In 2007 the addition of quartz crystal singing bowls to Niobe's work was life changing. The bowls are vessels of sacred sound providing the doorway for Niobe's etheric vocals. Singing with the bowls opened her further opened ability to sing one's personal spiritual melody. The gifts of healing and awakening move through Niobe in her concert series "Melodies of the Heart", private sessions and recorded personal sound bath cd's. The music, melodies and the sound reach into your heart and opens your spirit to an experience of its true divine nature.
Niobe has released two other CD's “Sacred Power, A Journey Through the Chakras” which is a unique sound practice for the chakras,and "Soulight" a meditative singing bowl experience of Niobe chanting in the language of light accompanied by the sacred tones of her crystal bowls. Both are available through CDbaby.com A third CD, "Silence the Stress" will be available through CDbaby soon! She is currently developing a series of sound bath CD's with specific healing intentions that are an introduction to what a personalized sound bath CD experience is like.These powerful recordings include crystal and tibetan singing bowls, toning and chanting in the language of light aligned with your personal intention.
Niobe is a regular speaker at Unity, Center for Spiritual Living, New Thought churches, yoga centers, conscious living centers, professional organizations, women's organizations and community associations.
